Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to orders placed through the GD Kites app and website, operated by GD Kite Center (owner: Gaurav Pandurang Dhamal), Kondhwa Budruk, Pune. It is part of our Terms of Service.

How you pay

• The goods are paid for in cash to the delivery partner when they arrive (cash on delivery).
• Where online payment is enabled, the delivery charge, GST on it and the payment fee are paid online at checkout through Razorpay. This is the only part of an order that can be paid online.

Cancelling an order

• Before we confirm it: cancel it yourself in the app (open the order → Cancel order). No charge applies.
• After we confirm it: call or WhatsApp the shop as soon as possible. If the order has not left the shop, we will cancel it. Once it is out for delivery, it can no longer be cancelled; you can refuse the delivery instead.
• An order that is not paid online within 15 minutes, where online payment is required, is cancelled automatically.
• We may decline or cancel an order — for example if stock runs out, the address is outside our delivery area, or a price was clearly wrong — and will tell you why.

Refunds of online payments

• If you cancel, or we decline or cancel the order, any amount you paid online is refunded automatically to the original payment method (UPI, card, net banking or wallet). You don't need to ask.
• Refunds usually reach you within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank.
• Goods are paid in cash on delivery, so there is nothing to refund for goods you did not accept.

Damaged, missing or wrong items

• Please check the goods when they arrive, before you give the delivery partner your 4-digit delivery code.
• Report damaged, missing or wrong items to us within 48 hours of delivery, with photos, by call or WhatsApp.
• After checking, we will replace the items, refund their price, or adjust your next order — whichever you prefer where possible.
• Kites are handmade, so small differences in colour or design from the product photos are not treated as defects.

Returns

Because kites and kite supplies are seasonal goods sold wholesale, we don't accept returns of goods that were delivered as ordered and in good condition. Damaged, missing or wrong items are covered above.
